Hidden cameras can be a very positive influence when used to help the law. Consider this instance.
It wasn’t how Don had imagined his first use of his recent purchase – a unique car key hidden camera – but his quick reaction in using the device may have saved a life.
Don had just finished participating in his weekly bowling league, followed by one beer with his teammates, and was headed to his car to drive home. A scream, followed by some scuffling noises, got his attention, and just as he reached his car, he saw what was happening. As he glanced to his left, he realized he was witnessing a kidnapping.
He struggled to absorb the unreality of the situation, but had his wits about him enough to grab his remote car key from his pocket and point it at the crime in progress. The remote was actually a hidden camera with audio and a built-in mini-DVR.
While trying to control a range of emotions – fear the chief amongst them – Don was able to control them all enough to keep the camera pointed at the action, with special emphasis on the license plates of the vehicle into which the two kidnappers were forcing a young lady they had pounced upon in the parking lot. At the same time, Don spoke a “running commentary” into the device in an attempt to capture every detail he could for the police.
At the same time, Don was fumbling into his pocket with his other hand to reach for his cell phone. As soon as he reached it, he entered 9-1-1 and alerted police to what was happening and where. When he added that he was capturing all the action on a hidden camera, there was a stunned silence on the other end. Finally, the 9-1-1 operator recovered enough to ask Don to “please remain on the scene for police to arrive.” He had planned to do just that.
While on the phone with 9-1-1 he was also able to provide the operator with a description of the vehicle used by the kidnappers and a license plate number. While one team of police began to block roads leading from the parking lot, another group quickly descended upon Don at the scene of the crime.
The police had never seen a car key hidden camera, but were most appreciative that Don had one and had acted so fast to capture the action. After answering all of their questions, and handing over the mini-DVR from the camera to the police, Don was permitted to go home. He did, and decided he needed a drink when he got there.
A call came in from police about an hour later to inform Don that the kidnappers had been captured and the kidnapped lady was safe. They thanked Don for his help. Don thanked www.yoursecurityandsafety.com/car-key-hidden-camera.htm for the opportunity to obtain the unique device, and from which he feels he’ll get a lot more use.
